PURPOSE:To execute the retrieval processing in accordance with an existing table, by generating a retrieval structure which has combined a logical structure of a user view and a logical structure of a condition retrieval instruction, when executing most of the retrieval processing. CONSTITUTION:When a condition retrieval instruction 31 is inputted, it is converted to a logical structure completed by a sentence structure analyzing system 22 and a semantic interpretation system 23. A logical data dictionary 24 is referred to, and whether a view exists in the retrieval structure or not is decided. In case when the view is contained, an execution programming system 27 fetches a logical structure of the view from a storage file 26, and restores it to the form of an absolute address by offset inverse conversion. Subsequently, the restored logical structure of the view is butted against a logical structure of an instruction corresponding to the retrieval instruction, and in accordance with its combination, whether a development processing system is adopted or a procedure processing system is adopted is discriminated. Also, it is executed by an execution system 28. |
