PURPOSE:To obtain a clear, fog-free image by applying to a developing member, a waveform voltage which has superposed pulses of a voltage for producing an electric field for moving a developer from a developer supply member to a developing member and from the developing member to an electrostatic carrier. CONSTITUTION:A selenium photoreceptor vapor-deposited on the drum circumferential surface of an image base 3 moves as shown by an arrow and, after being charged uniformly by a charger 8, receives light L to form an electrostatic latent image. A toner supply roller 1 has a magnet roll internally and a nonmagnetic cylindrical sleeve around it, and both rotates as shown by an arrow. A developing roller 2 is applied with the voltage developed by superspoing a 300V voltage VA and a 500V voltage -VB at timging of T=2sec and TB=0.4 sec. Thus, a sharp, fog-free image is obtained. |
