PURPOSE:To obtain a picture approximating an actual radar echo, by storing gain values corresponding to directional patterns of an antenna and allowing these gain values to correspond to differences between an antenna azimuth and the azimuth of an objective material and reading out these gain values after a time corresponding to the distance to a target. CONSTITUTION:An antenna azimuth thetaA is subtracted from an objective material azimuth thetaT in a subtracting circuit SUB, and an absolute value A of this subtraction result is code-converted to gain data corresponding to the antenna directional pattern in a code converting circuit CDC; and if the absolute value A is smaller than or equal to a radar beam width thetaB, the output is issued from a comparing circuit CMP to write gain data from the circuit CDC into a memory MEM. A switch SW is switched to the R side, and gain data read out in accordance with a range RT is subjected to D/A conversion, and an echo pulse generating circuit ECH is triggerred to generate one pulse, and a gate GT is opened to obtain the echo having an amplitude corresponding to the antenna gain. |
