PURPOSE:To reduce the value of a blank test and also, to shorten the time of analysis, by holding a sample capsule on a spherical capsule holder and insert- fixing this holder at a hemispherical connecting part of a decomposition vessel airtightly. CONSTITUTION:A spherical capsule holder 3 is raised and is insert-fixed at a hemisperical connecting part 11 airtightly after a water soluble capsule 6 enclosing a powdered sample is inserted into the holder 3. Next, after removing air in a piping system by a carrier gas 26, an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid is sent from a hydrochloric acid tank 18 to a decomposition vessel 10 jetting the gas and the capsule 6 is dissolved and also, the powder sample is dissolved by turning an electric current on an outer heater 28. Produced gas is transferred to a tube part to be cooled 13 by the gas 26 and steam is reduced to water and also, carbon dioxide is reduced to hydrochloric acide and then, these are flowed back to the vessel 10. On one hand, carbon dioxide is transferred together with the gas 26 to a gas measuring device 16 through a diverging part 14 and a drying tube 15 and the quantity of carbon dioxide is measured. |
