PURPOSE:To supplement a toner component properly by arranging a transparent electrode plate on the surface of an optical reflection densitometer which faces an image formation body, and applying a voltage, which has the same polarity with the potential of a developer stuck on the image formation body, to the surface of the transparent electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:An optical reflection densitiometer 10 is installed in a case 14, and on the front surface of the densitometer 10, a transparent plate 13 is placed and retained with a conductive keep plate 11. On the surface of the transparent plate 13 which faces a photosensitive drum 1, a transparent conductor is vapordeposited to form an electrode, which is applied with a voltage from a power source 12. This toner density detector 9 is fixed to the device so that the position on the photosensitive drum 1 which faces a toner mark formation part passes at 2-3mm. distance. |
