<p>Each layer of the core (1) comprises four silicon steel laminations cut at 45 deg. at each corner where they overlap. Two gripping frames (2a,2b) in contact with front and rear faces respectively of the core are held together conventionally by peripheral bolts (4), passing through rings (3) and secured at each threaded end by a nut (5,6). To ensure sufficient pressure for the required mechanical resistance, a pressure device (7) is housed in a cavity (201) formed pref. in the front frame (2a) at each corner. A crossbar (702) fixed to at least one side wall (202) of the frame is pierced with a threaded through hole (701), in which a screw (703) is adjusted to bear upon a pressure plate (704) against the face of the core.</p> |
