PURPOSE:To ensure the highly stable coating of a lubricant, by providing grooves or holes to a crossing slanted surface, a slanted surface parallel to a tape traveling direction and a surface opposite to a magnetic disk, etc. of a surface lubricant controlling tool. CONSTITUTION:The primary part of a surface lubricant controlling tool has the same structure as a floating head of a magnetic disk. A load spring 12 is put on a support spring 11 having a spherical seat 13, and a control slider 14 is adhered to the lower part of the seat 13 at the center of the spring 11. The spring 12 gives a prescribed level of pressure to the spring 11 via the seat 13. The slider 14 can follow a horizontal rocking motion with the seat 13 defined as a fulcrum while keeping parallel by means of the spring 11. |
