PURPOSE:To reduce the memory capacity and to ensure the effective reproduction and transmission of data, by detecting the no-signal section of an input analog signal and storing the time data of the no-signal section and the frame signal data showing the absence of signal into a memory. CONSTITUTION:The input analog signal is fed to an A/D converting circuit 2 and a no-signal detecting circuit 8 through an input terminal 1. The circuit 8 detects a no-signal section T2 and supplies the signal continuously to a control circuit 5, and a no-signal time counting circuit 9 performs the counting-up with each sampling section of the circuit 5. When no-signal detecting signal is supplied any more, the frame signal F and the count contents of the circuit 9 are stored in a memory 3 via a gate circuit 10b. The contents of the memory 3 are consecutively read out via the circuit 5 and an address designating circuit 4 and fed to a frame signal detecting circuit 11. When the signal F is detected, the data of the section T2 is fed to a D/A converter via a gate circuit 15. Then an analog signal 7 is delivered. Thus the effective reproduction and transmission is possible for the data. |
