CHEMICAL LIQUID FOR STABILIZING GROUND

PURPOSE:To obtain a ground stabilizing chemical liquid capable of forming a gel having a great solid strength in a short period (about 10sec or below), by incorporating slaked lime and alkali halide into a composition including an alkali silicate and a cement. CONSTITUTION:The titled ground stabilizing chemcial liquid consists of about 30-210g/l of alkali silicate (e.g. sodium silicate), about 50-300g/l of cement (e.g. Portland cement), about 30-200g/l of slaked lime and about 2-50g/l of alkali halide (e.g. sodium chloride). In practice, a double pipe method is preferably addopted wherein the cement containing an alkali silicate solution and an alkali halide (ii) dissolved therein and the slurry of slaked lime are mixed at the tips of injecting pipes and are immediately injected into the ground.
