<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily sort sheets onto a tray without being accompanied with any danger on a job by providing a means that displaces the axis of an offset roller making rolling contact with a belt and a guiding means that separates the sheet from the belt. CONSTITUTION:An electronic copying machine 1 is provided with a paper exhausting device 100. This paper exhausting device 100 selectively exhausts into a lower part tray 101 or a upper tray 102, those sheets of copying paper P sent from a paper exhausting roller 13 after being subjected to copying process. Moreover, the axis of a job offset roller 107 that makes rolling contact with the belt 106 can be displaced such that the contact surface between the belt 106 and the job offset roller 107 makes a torsional displacement in relation to the axis of a roller 105 on which the belt 106 is arranged. Further, a guide plate 112 guides copying paper P in the position behind the job offset roller 107 forward the direction to separate the copying paper P. And, a paper exhausting direction is switched with the displacement of the job offset roller 107.</p> |
