PURPOSE:To check the picture recording contents with the picture recording monitor during the picture recording, by setting a reproducing head on a recording head in the axial direction of a rotary cylinder and setting the stacking interval between these two heads at an integer-fold value of the track pitch. CONSTITUTION:The recording exclusive video heads 23 and 25 are for 1ch and 2ch respectively, and a pair of reproducing exclusive video heads 24 and 26 are set to a rotary cylinder 22 and above the heads 23 and 25 respectively. The space between the heads 23/25 and the heads 24/26 is set at an integer-fold value e.g., twice of the track pitch. Thus the head 24 traces the (n-2)th track which is preceding by two tracks in case the head 23 is recording the n-th track for example after a tape 32 is made to travel. As a rsult, a reproduced signal can be read out at a reproducing head part while a recording signal is fed to a recording head part. |
