PURPOSE:To perfectly eliminate the blocking of light by a rotor and the influence to a specimen caused by friction when the weak light emission of the specimen is measured, by making it possible to stir the specimen by rotating a specimen tray itself having the specimen received therein from the outside. CONSTITUTION:In a specimen container wherein a specimen tray 12 having a specimen 11 having flowability received therein is received in a thermostatic container 16 in which a thermostatic liquid is stored and the specimen 11 is observed under stirring, a discontinuous structure 12a such as a protruded structure is provided to the bottom surface of said tray 12 so as to stir the specimen 11 against the fluidizing inertia of the specimen 11 received in the specimen tray 12 and magnetic bodies 14a, 14b integrally rotatable along with the specimen tray 12 are provided. In addition, the magnetic field for generating rotary force from the outside is acted on the magnetic bodies 14a, 14b by an external magnetic field generating means consisting of permanent magnets 18a, 18b and a motor 19 and the specimen tray 12 is rotated to stir the specimen in said tray 12. As a result, when the weak light emission of the specimen is measured, the blocking of light by a rotor and the influence to the specimen caused by friction can be perfectly eliminated. |
