PURPOSE:To align a transported article moving on a conveyer, which is disarranged in direction and position, by combination of a stopper portion, the first aligning portion, the second aligning portion and a transported article detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:The leading end of a transported article A disarranged in direction and position on a conveyer is brought into contact with a stopper portion 70, whereby the direction of the disarranged transported article A is corrected. Subsequently, the first aligning portion 80 is horizontally moved to push one biased end of the transported article A toward the center of the conveyer, and then the first aligning portion 80 is returned to its designated position. The second aligning portion 85 is horizontally moved to turn the other biased end of the transported article A toward the center of the conveyer and push the article until a sensor portion 90 detects one biased end of the transported article A. When the sensor portion 90 detects one biased end of the transported article A, the second aligning portion 85 is returned to its designated position. The alignment of the article A is thus completed. |
