PURPOSE:To form the index label of a dispensed label, by printing an article name, a dispensing number, a code number or a unit price to be printed onto a heat sensitive label to either one of the heat sensitive label of the leading end and a trailing end parts of the continuously dispensed heat sensitive labels. CONSTITUTION:The thermal head 5 of a printing part 4 prints a single article price or a bar code of definite price commodity as well as a printing content of a visible character or a visible figure such as the number of a dispensed heat sensitive label 2, an article name, a code number or a single article price to the front half part of either one of the heat sensitive label (the index label) 2a positioned at the leading end and the trailing end parts thereof. When a label sensor 8 detects the notch part 3 of the label 2, a label cutter 7 is positioned along the longitudinal direction of the almost central part of the label 2. |
