<p>The revolution symmetry semiconductor rectifier comprises a semiconductor plate (10) and two leads (11, 12) each of which are welded on the main face of the plate (10). The first lead (11) forms a massive cylindrical bolt-shaped metallic socket comprised of a first section (11a) welded to the plate (10) and a second milled section (11b). The second lead (12) forms an upper connexion, the head part (12a) of which is welded to the plate (10). A body of synthetic resin (13) embed the periphery of the plate (10), the first section (11a) of the first lead (11) and part of the second lead (12). The second section (11b) of the first lead (11) is forced into a cooling sheet (14) in order to cool the rectifier. The sheet forms in the area of the section (11b) a passage (14a) which completely extends on the second section (11b). The free end (14b) of the passage (14a) embed the part of the second section (11b) which is adjacent to the first section (11a). A cylindrical sleeve (15) is arranged around the passage (14a) in order to contain radially the body of synthetic resin (13). The body (13) and thesleeve (15) extend axially beyond the head parts (12a) of the second lead (12).</p> |
