PURPOSE:To obtain flame retardation and to improve sound quality by dipping and impregnating a cone, consisting principally of cellulose fiber, in and with an organic compound which contains phosphorus and nitrogen mixed with low formaline type melamine resin at least partially, and drying it by a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A fixed diaphragm consisting principally of cellulose fiber, such as wood pulp and bast fiber, is made by paper sheeting. This disphragm is dipped from, for example, the neck part to the grommet part in a methanol mixed solution of an organic compound containing phosphorus and nitrogen and low formaline type melamine resin, or coated with it by spraying, brushing, etc., and then a heat treatment is carried out, for example, at about 100 deg.C for 15 minutes for drying. Consequently, a flame retardant diaphragm is obtained. Further, the cellulose fiber is used principally, internal loss is great and the impregnation of said melamine resin increases the mechanical strength (Young's modulus), so that the diaphragm has an excellent frequency, namely, improved sound quality. |
