A wheeled trolley has a base (1) and upright sides or shoulders (5) which have ends (4) engaged in sockets (3). The ends (4) are locked by gravity-operated or spring-biassed hook elements (8) and the lock is disabled by a foot-operated crank (10) which is connected to a rod (7) which carries said elements (8) preferably at its opposite ends. Foot-operation of the crank (10) leaves both hands free to manipulate the shoulder (5) and there is no bending down to be done. <IMAGE> |
