Machine for lawn reclaiming process - makes rows of holes and then injects measured quantity of seeds with fertiliser and filler

The machine reclaims worn out lawns and consists of a frame mounted on wheels and driven from a crankshaft (2). Each arm carries a hollow tine (5) which makes a hole in the ground as the machine moves forward. A seed box (8) mounted on each arm allows a measured quantity of grass seed with fertiliser etc., to fall into each hole after the withdrawal of the hollow tine. A rotary beam (53) mounted close to the ground and driven from a vertical shaft (52), breaks up the soil lumps removed from the holes.
