PURPOSE:To measure the concentration of salt accurately with a simple operation even by an unskilled person, by using a cation electrode and anion electrode selectively inducing to a cation and anion which are constitute the salt and finding the potential difference between both electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A sodium ion electrode 1 is constituted by a glass supporting tube 2, a glass responding film 3 and an inner liquid 4 and an electric potential E1 in accordance with the concentration of a sodium ion in a sample liquid 5 containing sodium chloride is outputted. An electric potential E2 in accordance with the concentration of a chlorine ion is outputted by a chlorine ion electrode 8 having the same constitution. Both potentials E1, E2 are inputted into a differential amplifier 7 and a potential difference E1-E2 is found. The concentration of the salt is found by said value because this potential difference becomes the value corresponding to the concentration of sodium chloride. Hereby, the operation is made simple and the measurement is performed accurately even by an unskilled person. |
