Sailing boat with fore rudder (27) arranged at the bow and an aft centre-board (3), the mast being arranged between these, but offset sternwards of the centre, and being secured on the boat body. The boat is constructed symmetrically with a central chamber which extends from fore to aft and which merges into the foredeck, and two lateral buoyancy elements (9a, 9b) which can be subdivided completely by longitudinal bulkheads. The rudder is held on the bow in a rudder case which is open to the front, and the centre-board is held on the stern in a centre-board case which is open to the rear, it being possible for the centre-board to be mounted displaceably in the longitudinal direction. The rudder is mounted by means of a rudder horn which can be lifted upwards in the rudder case and into which the rudder is fitted from below and connected to the tiller (13). <IMAGE>
