The connection device for metal profiles (6, 7) for the production of frame structures for windows, doors, façades or the like has a corner connector (1), the connector leg (4) of which has an expansion plane (2) which extends to the bridges (3) at the end of the connector legs. The connection surfaces of the corner connector are provided with an adhesive layer which consists of a hot-melt-type adhesive to which there is added either admixtures which have an elastic effect or a blowing agent which works under the action of heat. After activating the hot-melt-type adhesive by the action of heat at the end of mounting the parts to be connected, the air gaps between the corner connector and the pushed-on profiles is completely filled with adhesive, with the result that a connection with high adhesive strength is obtained. <IMAGE>
