PURPOSE:To obviate the wasteful consumption of fuel due to unnecessary rapid acceleration or abrupt start, by making the stepping on an accelerator pedal draggy in response to quick stepping on the accelerator pedal. CONSTITUTION:When the accelerator pedal 13 is quickly stepped down, a solenoid 38 is turned on to cause a plunger 39 to be attracted to abut on a stopper, a space 65 in a housing 64 of the solenoid 38 is cut off from a space 33 outside the housing 64, and a poppet 75 opens a communication bore 72 to make a negative pressure chamber 42 in communication with a chamber 34 in the casing body 31. As a result a negative pressure is introduced in the chamber 34, and a diaphragm working member 36 moves quickly against a spring 47 to draw in an extension end 22 of a core line 19 of an accelerator wire 14 so that a force corresponding to the pressure difference of the chambers 35, 34 in a throttle actuator 23 acts to the pedal 13 in a direction to put the pedal 13 back thereby the stepping becomes draggy. |
