PURPOSE:To make the monitoring at near and remote points possible and to lessen manpower for welding work by picking up the image of the welding arc on a screen and with a television camera. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring device 6 for the welding arc consists of a screen 13 which projects the image of a welding arc part 5 through the optical path of lenses 7, 11, a diaphragm 8, and reflecting mirrors 9, 12, a half mirror 10 provided in said optical path, and a television camera 17 which projects the reflected light by said mirror 10 through the optical path of a light shielding filter 14, a diaphragm 15, and a lens 16. This device 6 enables the welding operator to monitor the welding arc in near and remote places and lessens the manpower for welding work. |
