An idling speed control device for internal combustion engines is proposed, which essentially comprises a device (17) controlled by a microcomputer (10), which device (17) acts on the internal combustion engine, adjusting its speed. The microcomputer together with the internal combustion engine forms a closed loop control circuit with a predeterminable control behaviour.
