Seed drill with single-disc coulters which are rotatably mounted on holders arranged movably in a vertical plane, the coulter discs forming an acute angle to the direction of travel. In order, even on ground covered with crop residues, to achieve a perfect and complete depositing of the material to be discharged, in the sowing slits made by the single-disc coulters, plates connected to the holders are arranged on the insides of the coulter discs extending obliquely to the direction of travel. The plates are, on their front sides, at a distance from the coulter discs, and cleaning bosses are arranged on the inside of the coulter discs.
