A laundry container (1) is subdivided into a plurality of compartments (3, 3a, 3b) in its interior for presorting laundry. It has a film bag (11), for example made of plastic, and a support frame (4) which holds said bag in an approximately cuboid position of use. Lateral support bars (5) of the support frame (4) serve, on the one hand, for holding the laundry container (1), but on the other hand also at their upper end as handles for carrying.
