The method allows to manufacture webs or plates of thermoplastic material wherein a multitude of profiled bodies (17, 18) are formed, taped towards their summits and connected at their bases in the plane of the material web. The formation of profiled bodies is carried out in a thermoplastic phase of the material by means of spike-like tools (12) of which the temperature is lower than that of the material. The spike-like tools (12) deform, respectively, profile the plastified material by drawing the material until it solidifies following the cooling of the material, respectively until it reaches a temperature lower than the plastification point of the previously soft material. Also disclosed is a device for continuously or discontinuously producing a multitude of hollow standing bodies (17, 18), optionally tapered towards their summits and connected at their bases, from webs or plates of thermoplastic materials; the profiled bodies (17, 18) are formed on one side or on both sides of the plane (16) of the material, and are connected through the plane of the material (16) forming the base. |
