Treatment of a wooden absorbing surface is described. The base layer and/or top layer is coated with a clear or pigmented lacquer which includes silicon particles and spherical polymeric particles esp. polypropylene, or only silicon particles. When the layer is dry, a lustre controlling layer can be applied. This has a lustre between 5 and 80% on the Gardner 60 deg. scale. Used for treatment of water absorbing surfaces, e.g. veneer, chipboard etc. for e.g. furniture. (Provisional Basic previously advised in Week K08). |
