The manually-operated sprayer has a spray mechanism fixed to the neck of a vessel containing the spray fluid and in corporating a pressure chamber formed by a piston working in a cylinder. The piston is actuated by pressing a sprayer head so as to discharge fluid through a nozzle. A connector piece (22) engages in the vessel neck opening (5) and has inner and outer peripheral walls (23, 24) joined at the bottom. At the top of its outer walls ia a first flange (28) bearing against the neck top edge, and the top of the inner wall forms an inner support surface. A holder (31) attached to the neck has a second flange (32) opposite this surface, together with a first cylindrical section (3) bearing against the outside of the inner wall.
