The rotating puzzle has its moving elements defined by arcs of circles centred on the points of two triangular networks whose points are on the central sphere. It has 14 moving elements that constitute 8 distinct sets each forming a spherical cap formed of 7 different elements. The moving elements consist of 8 triangular elements and 4 of these have tongues (5) that slide in grooves in the others (1,2,3,4). There are also 6 quadrilateral elements (6) with tongues (9,10) on 2 opposite edges and grooves (11,12) in the other edges. The joins have the same curvature as the sphere.
