Hollow charge anti-tank projectile - is fired from hand held weapon with optional additional propulsive charge

The ammunition is hollow charge type, mainly for anti tank use, and is fired from a hand held weapon. It has a propulsive charge initiated after firing and set off by combustion from firing a gyro-stabilising charge (4) concentrically around a projectile (2). The charge is held in a chamber between the ammunition body (3) and the bullet and can be in a thin sealed metal space holed by gas from the cartridge at the moment of firing. Additional propulsion (5) can be chosen, using a ring (9) with air holes (10,13) communicating with the stabilising charge.
