The feed adds air to a fuel-air charge in an ic engine carburettor, to regulate the charge strength. It has an obturator normally sealed against a sealing seat (12a) between the carburettor inlet and a velocity decreasing section. It has a compensator against the force exerted on the obturator by the pressure depression caused by the charge flow. The opposed face of the obturator can be acted on by the additional inlet air pressure. The obturator can be formed by a ball (19) and the compensator can be a permanent magnet (14).
|
