The palette aids storage and handling of ring-shaped articles, comprising three or more posts (2) mounted on a base (1) raised above the ground. The stored goods are threaded onto a post or a group of posts and the base clearance is sufficient for penetration by the forks of a lift truck. The base clearance may be provided by post downstands on conical feet (4) with the large end (5) beneath, permitting palette stacking with the feet centring automatically onto post heads. The palette may be provided with lifting rings (6), and padlocking pins connecting the heads of two posts, the base comprising a square frame with the length exceeding the side of the square and a post fixed in each of the internal angles.
