The data display system or advertising display comprises a film (transparency) projector with a screen. A magazine or cassette containing the film is inserted into the projector. The transparencies may be mounted on an endless carrier inside the cassette. One or more projectors may be mounted high up inside a public transport vehicle. The projector may be mounted near the driver's seat or in the passenger zone. The projector is held in a frame attached to the roof or wall. The frame is sprung to eliminate vibration.
