In the recording instrument with moving-coil measuring mechanism (1) and a pressure clamp (4) periodically acting on the measurement mechanism pointer (3), an electrically heatable recording element (8) is attached to the pointer, which contacts a moving thermo-sensitive recording carrier (5) with each action of the pressure clamp on the pointer.
