15-Sulfonamidoprostaglandin derivatives of the formula:

and the pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, wherein: Q is -CO2H, -CO2R, tetrazol-5-yl, -CONHSO2R or -CONH-COR; A is ethylene or cis-vinylene; X is H, F, Cl, Br, OCH3, CF3 or CH3; and R is alkyl of 1 to 4 carbons or phenyl, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof are disclosed. The compounds have gastric antisecretory activity and are thus of value in the treatment of peptic ulcers.
