Injection valve

An injection valve is proposed, which serves for the injection of fuel into the intake pipe of internal combustion engines operating with fuel injection systems. The fuel injection valve comprises a valve casing (59) in which a valve part (35), interacting with a fixed valve seat (36), is supported so that it can move in opposition to a return spring (51). The return spring (51) is supported by its end remote from the valve part (35) on a slide valve element (55), which is displaceably supported in the valve casing (59) and bears on an area (61) of the casing base (58), which can be deformed for axial displacement of the slide valve element (55). In this way adjustment of the force of the return spring (51) is possible, without the problems of sealing the slide valve element (55) off from the outside. <IMAGE>
