The invention relates to a slip clutch with a housing (1) in which is mounted a shaft which is in engagement with a driving part (7) for driving a driven part (11), the driving part (7) being held in position relative to the shaft by a spring preload and the spring preload being adjustable by means of a nut (10) to adjust the slipping torque. In order to be able to perform adjustment of the slipping torque easily and in a simple manner from outside, the nut (10) is provided on its circumference with at least one groove (12), while a locking pin (13) preloaded by a spring in the direction of the nut (10) so as to engage in the groove (12) is provided and this pin can be fixed in the position of non-engagement with the groove (12) by means of a fixing device (17) which can be operated from outside the housing (1), in particular a lock nut (17) which can be screwed onto the outside of the locking pin (13). <IMAGE>
