The hydraulic control device according to fig. 1 has a flow control valve (16), a pressure control valve (B), a non-return valve (72), a brake valve (80) and a pressure accumulator (86) and a pump (12), by means of which the pressure accumulator and a hydraulic consumer (24) are supplied with fluid. The pressure control valve comprises a 2-position control slide valve (42) and a valve body (43), which are operatively connected by a spring (45). A flow of hydraulic control oil coming from the flow control valve flows via the pressure control valve to the tank until the pressure accumulator is sufficiently charged. Once the latter is charged, the flow control valve is adjusted by the pressure control valve so that now the connection to the accumulator is interrupted and the consumer (24) is supplied with fluid. <IMAGE>
