The invention relates to a feed device for a tube drawing bench. The tubes are slipped onto the mandrel bars above the actual drawing plane. The mandrel bars and the associated mandrels are attached to a common support. The support moves parallel to the axis between the slip-on position and the drawing position. The displacement of the support parallel to the axis, together with the mandrel bars, is accomplished by means of four angle levers pivoted at 18 and 19. The movement of the angle levers is synchronised via the control rods (22, 39). The movement of the mandrel bar support is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder. The swivel joints are each situated between the associated "table leg" and the drawing die.
