In a bed frame with a support beam extending over a lying surface in the longitudinal direction of the bed, the field of vision of a patient is to be increased, so that it is possible for him/her to read something lying on the bed the right way round. For this purpose, a hanging rod (4) is suspended by its upper end (5) on the support beam (3). A mirror support (7) with two mirror surfaces (8, 9) is arranged on the bottom end (6) of the hanging rod (4) near the patient (A). The mirror surfaces (8, 9) are directed toward the lying surfaces (2). They are arranged at an angle (W) relative to one another which is dimensioned such that one mirror surface (9) is visible in the other mirror surface (8) from the lying surface (2). <IMAGE> |
