The joint connection has a joint element (11) with single tongues which project in the direction of the bars (10) and have tongue heads (16, 12.1). Fitted snugly over the latter are double tongues (18) of the bars (10). Bolts (20) are fitted through holes (31, 17) in the double tongues and the joint tongues. The distance between the tongue heads and the space next to the tongue heads are chosen such that the double tongues can be pivoted laterally over the tongue heads (16, 12.1). Located between all of the tongue heads (12.1, 16) is flat material in the planes of the forces, so that deflections are prevented. The joint element (11) is produced from structural steel or structural aluminium, preferably by welding flat material. Different-sized bars (10) with different-sized tongue heads (12.1, 16) and different-sized holes (17, 31) can be connected. <IMAGE>
