In a duplex-capable millimetre-wavelength radio device for digital data transmission, part of the power of an unmodulated oscillator (1) is fed via a coupler (2) directly to a reception mixer (7). The other part of the oscillator power is forwarded via a phase changeover switch (3) for PSK or DPSK modulation and a transceiver filter (5) to an antenna (6). The phase changeover switch (3) is preferably a fin line structure with lines which have different transit times. These lines can be connected/disconnected with Schottky diodes, whereby data rates up to around 100 Mbit/s can be achieved. <IMAGE>
