A cartridge pivot pin and bush joint has spaced, dry, self-lubricating bushings(14) between the pin(10) and a metal cylinder(12) surrounding the pin near the ends of the cylinder; dry, self-lubricating annular thrust bearings(16) mounted on the pin at the ends of the cylinder, thrust controlling annular retainer(18) fixed at the pin ends abutting the thrust bearings, & resilient seals(22) in grooves(20) in the retainers. the bushings are pref. of PTFE matrix on a cylindrical metal backing plate. The seal is pref. of polyethylene elastomer.
