PURPOSE:To improve reliability, maintenance and easy handling by connecting a card to an external device through three pairs of magnetic coupling coils arranged on prescribed positions and changing I/O by a switch. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic coupling coils 22-24 are formed on the center position of an information card 20 and symmetrical positions about the center position and the card 20 is connected to a device 10 through the corresponding magnetic coupling coils 13, 16, 17. Then, AC power is supplied from an oscilla tion circuit 11 in the device 10 through the coil 22 and converted into DC power by a power supply circuit 26, so that a power supply battery can be omitted. On the other hand, I/O based upon the coils 23, 24 is changed by a built-in switch 28 and I/O control to/from the device through a built-in memory 31 can be normally executed independently of the inserting direction of the card 20. Said constitution characterized by no use of a contact terminal or the like, coupling free from external exposure, omission of a battery, and no existence of influence based on the inserting direction makes it possible to improve vari ous characteristics such as the reliability, maintenance and easy handling. |
