<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate adjusting work by reproducing the leaked part of a reference signal recorded by a first head by a second head, and discriminating the time difference between a head switching signal and the generation timing of a reproduced signal obtained from a second head based on the formerly said reproduced signal of the leaked part. CONSTITUTION:The first head 19 supported by a drum records a reference signal KCK for head switching signal generation in a tape, and the second head 18 reproduces the reference signal KCK leaked from the track corresponding to the first head 19. Based on thus obtained reproduced signal, the time difference between the head switching signal HDCKP and the generation timing of a reproduced signal obtained from the second head 18 is discriminated in order to adjust the generating timings of the head switching signal HDCKP and the generation timing of a reproduced signal obtained from the second head 18. In such a way, the head switching signal HDCKP and the generation timing of a reproduced signal obtained from the respective heads 18 and 19 are automatically adjusted. As a result, the adjusting work is made easier.</p> |
