<p>The vacuum breaker-pressure release device has a vacuum chamber including an upper end for connection to a downwardly extending fitting connected to the upper end of the gasoline storage tank vent pipe. The vacuum chamber has a reduced open bottom end portion defining a shoulder seating a valve assembly. A conduit extends from the side of the vacuum chamber and has an upwardly extending terminal portion. A pressure release chamber, having escape openings and an open bottom end, is connected to the terminal portion and in communication with the conduit and the vacuum release chamber. The shoulder at the bottom of the pressure release chamber seats a valve assembly.</p> |
