PURPOSE:To improve the dispersibility of magnetic powder by coating a base material with a magnetic paint, and applying a vertical and a horizontal magnetic field to the paint before the paint is dried. CONSTITUTION:A disk 1 made of an aluminum substrate is mounted on a spin coater and is rotated as shown by the arrow. Then, a paint falls on the center circumference of the disk 1 and is diffused from the central part to the peripheral part. At this time, while the paint gets dried, a horizontal and a vertical magnetic field are applied alternately. For this purpose, a horizontal magnetic field generating means consists of two couples of premanent magnets 2-1 and 2-2, and 3-1 and 3-2 and those couples are positioned above and below the disk 1; and a vertical magnetic field generating means uses a permanent magnet 3, which is positioned below the disk 1. The intensity of the vertical magnetic field is varied by moving up and down the permanent magnet 3. |
