PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration of inserting loss and to increase the light transmission efficiency, by providing feedback optical fibers for reception of the leaked light around a light receiving bundle. CONSTITUTION:The center parts of light transmitting and light receiving fiber bundles A and B are melted to each other. The 12 feedback optical fibers 4 are set together around the outer circumference of the bundle B and melted to the core part of a feedback optical fiber 5 of the incident light. Thus the output light passing through the fiber A is transmitted through a core 2 at the bundle B, and the leaked light at the molten area is sent back to the bundle A via the feedback optical fibers 4 and 5. As a result, the inserting loss is greatly decreased and the light transmission efficiency can be increased greatly. |
