PURPOSE:To easily mount input and output devices even in case of extension or change of a system, by using a bus in a controlling place and a place to be controlled, as a bus which is used in common for both transmission and receiving. CONSTITUTION:A bus 30 which is used in common for both transmission and receiving is connected between an input device 2, code converters 4, 16, and an output device 18. A timing control signal BTML outputted from the code converter 4 has a period of 1/16 of a transmission speed of a transmission line 5. A signal PSBL is outputted from the code converter 4, shows that the bus 30 is being used, and inhibits use of the bus 30 of the code converter 16. AD is outputted from the code converter 4 and designates the input device or 16, and REDL is a signal for reading out a data through the bus 20 from the input device 2, and WRTL is a signal for writing a data in the output device 18 through the bus 30. In this way, the code converters having different transmission speeds can be mounted on the same bus, the device is simplified and also the system is extended and changed easily. |
